Mozzu and its affiliated companies (“Mozzu,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) act as the data controller for the personal data of riders and independent contractors. We process all rider information in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations, and industry standards. We collect, use, disclose, and store personal information only for legitimate business purposes related to rider operations and service delivery.
We collect personal information that helps us identify you, contact you, and operate our delivery services efficiently. Personal data includes any information—true or false—that can identify an individual directly or indirectly. This may include your name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, identification details, bank information, profile photo, device details, geolocation data, performance metrics, and application-related information.
To manage rider services, we use various tools, systems, and technologies. During their use, we may collect and store identifying information, contact details, account-related information, performance data, GPS locations, device information, technical data, and communication records. This data is necessary for onboarding, identity verification, delivery assignments, training, payments, order tracking, customer communication, equipment management, and ensuring service quality.
We process rider data for essential operational reasons. During hiring, we review the information provided to approve or reject applications. For identity verification, riders may be required to upload a selfie or photo, which is deleted after verification. If an applicant pauses the onboarding process, Mozzu may send reminders via SMS or email. During activation, we prepare riders for their first service day and provide necessary training. We monitor attendance and reliability to ensure agreement compliance. Rider accounts are created and maintained to allow access to operational tools. During deliveries, location and technical data help optimize order assignment and track delivery progress. For payments, we use your identification, contact, and bank information to prepare statements and process payouts.
We also evaluate rider performance based on order completion, customer feedback, reliability, and compliance with operational standards. In case of contract termination or offboarding, we handle data for account deactivation, equipment return, and required recordkeeping. Some data is retained for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention requirements.
Marketing activities—such as targeted ads and remarketing—may also be carried out to find new potential riders. These activities use anonymized browsing or interest data and do not involve direct identification unless you voluntarily provide contact details.
We store personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill operational, legal, and regulatory requirements. Once a purpose is completed, the data is either deleted or securely archived. Certain retention periods apply based on law, especially for tax, fraud prevention, or compliance obligations. Data scheduled for deletion may be temporarily retained if legal constraints require it.
Mozzu does not share your information with unauthorized parties. However, we may share limited personal data with trusted service providers who support business operations—such as IT infrastructure providers, security partners, legal advisors, auditors, or financial consultants. All processors are carefully evaluated and must comply with strict data protection standards.
We may also share data with Mozzu group members when necessary for operational efficiency or system support. In cases required by law, regulatory authorities, or law enforcement, we may disclose certain information to comply with legal obligations.

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you and how we use it. You may request access to your data at any time, and we will respond within 30 days. You may also request corrections to inaccurate information, and we will update it as soon as possible.
You may withdraw your consent for specific types of data processing at any time. Processing may take up to 10 business days, depending on the complexity of the request. Withdrawing consent may affect your ability to continue working with Mozzu if the data is essential for service operations.
